About Us

Fleet Card Fuels (FCF) was formed by a merger of Davies Oil Company and
Pence Petroleum cardlock divisions in 1987. FCF is a retail fuel distributor
and commercial cardlock company with revenues nearing $200 million. The
company is based in Bakersfield, operating 40 stations and a network of 46
dealers throughout the Central Valley, the Eastern Sierra, and North Los
Angeles.

FCF leases or operates mini-marts and travel centers, as well as card-lock
fueling locations. Its major brands include Shell, Texaco, and Chevron. Both
branded and unbranded fuels are used in the commercial card-lock facilities
and for wholesaling to independent retail locations.

History

Davies Oil was formed in 1963 by William P. Davies. Mr. Davies raised his
two sons (Bill and Rick Davies) and one daughter (Linda Lopez) in the fuel
distribution business. These three are now the majority shareholders in
Fleet Card Fuels.

In 1987, Davies Oil Company and Pence Petroleum combined their cardlock
divisions to form Fleet Card Fuels. Davies Oil continued to operate its
retail fuels and convenience store operations, as well as its retail and
wholesale fuel distribution operations.

In 1988, we joined the Commercial Fueling Network (CFN), of 300 independent
fueling marketers, among the first 11 companies to form this network. Our
customer base now utilizes more than 2,000 fueling locations throughout the
nation.
